Anyone who studies history knows that groups have perceived interests and that often these interests differ from those of other groups. But what happens when one group is told it cannot have separate interests as has happened to whites with the last half century of politically correct diversity training? To recognize this phenomenon, which is difficult for whites since they have been led to believe that group self interest-for them-is somehow immoral; let us address the recent election.
Here are the approximate percentages of groups that voted for Obama in the order of highest to lowest. Blacks voted about 97% for Obama, Jews 78%, Hispanics 67%, Asians 63%, and others 66%. Whites only voted 43% for him nationally and in the South generally much less.
McCain received about 55% of the white vote and with only 4% more he would have won. That is a substantially lower percentage that any other group votes for their perceived candidate. Instead of trying to get the white vote, McCain pandered to Hispanics with Spanish only ads about his version of amnesty and to blacks with his speeches at black churches and the NAACP. Steve Sailer, at VDare.com, has showed just how dumb this policy has been in every election since 2000. The Republican party has become largely the party of the descendents of those who founded this country, while the Democrat party has become the party of minorities, representing their interests. Yet the Republican leaders and pundits continue with the same stupid campaigns and promotions because they are afraid to address issues of race and ethnicity. Sometime people get what they deserve.
